Outdoor Climbing
Individuals and group full day session
This is aimed at people who want to try the real thing not just an artificial climbing wall with little or no experience of rock climbing.
A normal day would start at 09:30 and finish at 15:30. The day would consist of firstly having a safety brief before a quick warm up ready to get straight on to what you came to do, CLIMB!
The usual venue I use is Symonds Yat Rock in the Wye Valley. This crag is fantastic for beginners with over 100 climbs all within 10 minutes walk (this is where we do most of the warming up). Symonds Yat Rock is a wonderful area both to climb and admire the amazing views. The venue has a pay at meter car park charged at £3.50 per day, café, picnic tables, toilets and a tourist information area. We also use other venues in and around the UK.
All safety equipment is included in the price.

Individuals and group half day session
If you want to give climbing a go but didn’t want to commit to a full day then why not try a half day, get a feel for real rock and learn climbing and belaying techniques. No doubt you would have wished you choose a full day climbing experience. The usual venue I use for the half day climbing experience is Cleeve hill Cheltenham, I park at The rising sun hotel and walk up to the crag. RCA uses their car park for free however we have a drink after the climb in their bar / garden to say thanks.
